Blondie “Nests” with Cadbury Mini Eggs

SONY DSCTomorrow is Easter! I hope everyone can get together with people they care about and enjoy and nice meal! We are having friends over to our home and I can’t wait to get cooking and have a fun time! Today I will be prepping as much as I can and making the desserts!

The other day my daughter and I made a very cute and fun dessert that is super easy to make! Blondies! We decided that instead of making traditional brownie Blondies that we would make them a cupcake pan and call them nests, it was really cute and I wanted to share. If any of you are looking for a simple dessert that kids will love, give these a try!

1.5 sticks of butter, melted

2 cups of packed brown sugar

2 eggs

1.5 tsp vanilla

1.5 tsp baking powder

1/4 tsp salt

2 cups of flour

1 bag (equals about a cup) of cadbury mini eggs

Preheat oven to 350. Grease the muffin pan. In a large bowl whisk together the melted butter and brown sugar. Add eggs and vanilla and mix well. Add the dry ingredients and combine until mixed together well. Fold in the Cadbury mini eggs. Fill each muffin cup about 3/4 of the way full. Bake for about 20-30 minutes until done.

We had fun with ours and I added a few jelly beans on top after they cooled to look like eggs in the nest:-)
